The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress continues to be recognized by industry experts for its excellence in video and outdoor advertising, breaking new ground for chiropractic. Here’s the latest:

Two Golds in Hermes Creative Awards

Two F4CP video commercials have been named gold winners in the 2023 Hermes Creative Awards, one of the oldest and largest creative competitions in the world. These are chiropractic’s first Hermes Creative Awards.

The Hermes Creative Awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), an international organization consisting of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production and freelance professionals. AMCP judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.

The commercials are part of F4CP’s “Naturally, Chiropractic” marketing campaign, which highlights the benefits of chiropractic care for individuals at every stage of life.

Titled “Chiropractic Care for Older Adults” and “Chiropractic Care for Pregnancy,” the videos explain how chiropractic care benefits senior citizens and pregnant women, respectively, allowing them to live active, pain-free lives. The “Chiropractic Care for Older Adults” video aired twice during CNN's television premiere of "American Pain" on Feb. 5, 2023.

The “Naturally, Chiropractic” tagline was guided by a Harris Poll, conducted on behalf of the F4CP, that revealed more than half (53%) of young adults (ages 18-32) would be more willing to choose a DC for managing back pain instead of a medical doctor, such as a primary care doctor or an orthopedist.

The survey of over 2,000 U.S. adults confirmed that younger Americans prefer drug-free and non-invasive approaches to manage back pain, and avoiding risky, complicated and costly surgical procedures.

Gold Healthcare Advertising Award

The F4CP’s “Yes2Chiropractic” outdoor advertising campaign was also honored as a gold winner in the 40th annual Healthcare Advertising Awards, the largest and most well-recognized health care advertising awards competition. This is the first time a chiropractic campaign has received this award.

Three Firsts for Chiropractic

The Healthcare Advertising Awards are the largest and the most well-recognized health care advertising awards competition, with 4,300 entries in 2023. A national panel of judges were engaged in reviewing all entries based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact.

Aimed at raising awareness about the benefits of chiropractic care, F4CP placed 60 outdoor ads throughout the U.S. in 2022 to support its 32,000 members. The majority of the taglines read, “Better health within reach. See your chiropractor. Yes2Chiropractic.org.”

Three Firsts for Chiropractic

The F4CP has been running ads since it was established 20 years ago and started with outdoor approaches, such as train wraps and billboards, in 2018. 2022 was its best year to date with 60 placements garnering more than 21 million impressions.

“It’s gratifying to be recognized by communications experts for our work,” said Sherry McAllister, DC, president of the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress. “These awards are a testament to our commitment to raise awareness of the benefits of chiropractic care.”
