Polar Products and 1stBooks Join ChiroMall

Polar Products, maker of numerous hot/cold therapy products, has just opened its online store on ChiroMall. Polar Products currently offers more than 60 different items for doctors to use with their patients.

1stBooks, publisher and marketer for self-published authors, now offers 20 titles in the Preferred Reading and Viewing Store, with more titles expected. 1stBooks offers a unique arrangement by which all of its authors are considered self-published and own all rights to their books.

ChiroMall (www.ChiroMall.com) now offers more than 500 products exclusively for doctors of chiropractic. DCs must use their unique user ID and password to enter ChiroMall, as prices and access are protected. Doctors who don't know their unique user ID and password can request them via e-mail (listservices@mpamedia.com). Please include your full name, address, license number and the state that issued your license.

New York's highest court of appeals has held that no-fault insurers cannot deny no-fault benefits where they unilaterally determine that a provider has committed misconduct based upon alleged fraudulent conduct. The Court held that this authority belongs solely to state regulators, specifically New York's Board of Regents, which oversees professional licensing and discipline. This follows a similar recent ruling in Florida reported in this publication.
