Dr. Adam Del Torto, a 1984 graduate of NYCC, is the founder and developer of a specialized "balloon assisted" cranial adjusting technique called Cranial Facial Release (CFR), which often works on last-resort patients who have not responded to other forms of conventional treatment. He has lectured at multiple chiropractic forums in both the U.S. and abroad, and his unique approach to cranial adjusting has generated interest and enthusiasm throughout the profession. He is also the creator of a "CHIROPRACTIC ROCKS" – an annual convention designed to "Shape the Future of Chiropractic and Create the Next Generation of Chiropractic Legends."

The New Jersey Board of Chiropractic Examiners has made a precedential decision, concurring with the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors' (ANJC) position paper on chiropractic X-ray guidelines. In plain terms, the board ruled, consistent with the ANJC position, that insurance companies cannot use medical X-ray rules or recommendations, like those written by the American College of Radiology (ACR), to decide whether a chiropractor's X-ray was necessary.
