"Move Your Spine" Theme for 2023 World Spine Day

“Move Your Spine” is the theme for World Spine Day 2023, encouraging people to take care of their spines by staying active. Celebrated on Oct. 16 every year, World Spine Day is the perfect opportunity to raise awareness of spinal health in your community while taking part in what the World Federation of Chiropractic (which organized World Spine Day back in 2008) describes as “the world’s largest public health event organized to raise awareness of spinal disorders and the global burden of spinal pain and disability.”

For more information, including in-the-works resources that will be available to support local World Spine Day initiatives around the world, visit www.worldspineday.org.

Take the Next Step With the F4CP

On National Walking Day (April 6), the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress launched its Next Step Community Program, “an initiative to encourage YOU, our doctor members, to get outside of your office and into your community by leading a running or walking program in your neighborhood.” According to the F4CP, the benefits of establishing this type of program in your community include promoting yourself as an expert in your community; connecting with your community beyond your office walls; and connecting with other local health care professionals.
