Some doctors thrive in a personality-based clinic and have a loyal following no matter what services or equipment they offer, but for most chiropractic offices who are trying to grow and expand, new equipment purchases help us stay relevant and continue to service our client base in the best, most up-to-date manner possible. Life West Student Awarded First Dr. Michael Dobbins Scholarship
Life Chiropractic College West student James Hartman Andersen received the first Dr. Michael Dobbins Excellence in Nutritional Education Scholarship during the college's annual Spring for Life celebration. Standard Process, Inc., created the $10,000 annual scholarship through Life West in recognition of alumnus Michael Dobbins, DC. For many years, Dr. Dobbins has been educating his patients, colleagues and the public on the value of combining chiropractic care and whole-food nutritional supplements to promote personal well-being and maintain overall health.
The Dr. Michael Dobbins Excellence in Nutritional Education scholarship will be awarded to a Life West student each year for the next 10 years. According to Standard Process, the goal is to encourage students to study whole-food nutrition as they pursue their degrees in alternative health care.
