Because they have yet to pass national legislation protecting the chiropractic profession, Japanese DCs are in a similar situation that U.S. DCs faced. We were fortunate enough to be able to pass chiropractic licensure state by state. The DCs in Japan must accomplish this nationally, which has proved to be an extremely difficult task. And in spite of their efforts, Japanese DCs are currently faced with two chiropractic professions.
WFC Announces Newest Corporate Associate Member
The World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC) has announced its newest corporate associate member for the first quarter of 2009. Santa Cruz Holistics, based in Watsonville, Calif., joins the WFC at the bronze level for its first year, and in so doing, joins a growing list of WFC corporate associate members, which provide a wide range of goods and services that support the growth of the profession worldwide.
