Clinton's Health Security Act Submitted for Congressional Consideration

Well, it has finally arrived -- the Health Security Act -- the 1,342-page health care bill that is now in the hands of the 103rd. Congress.

Fortunately, this massive legislative health reform tome has a companion piece, Health Security: The President's Report to the American People, a more consumable 136-pages that explains in everyday English the reform proposed by the Health Security Act.

As the Health Security Act hit (fell on) Capital Hill just as we were going to press, "DC" will present in its next issue the reactions to the bill from the ACA, ICA, and the Coalition for Chiropractic Inclusion in National Health Care Reform. Stayed tuned.

In the meantime, you might want to get a head start by reading Health Security: The President's Report to the American People. If your feeling ambitious, you might want to also order the Health Security Act ($45) via the same number.
