When I graduated from chiropractic college in 1981 and started practice, I heard it all, and very little was positive. “You are a quack; you do not know what a subluxation is; you couldn’t get into a real health care program, so you chose the one that is slightly above a mail-order degree; you have no proof that chiropractic works; Are you really licensed?”, and so much more.
| Digital ExclusiveLast Chance for OVCA Nominations
October 15 is the last day to nominate leaders of "Our Virtual Chiropractic Association" (OVCA). This is our chance to nominate a "dream team" of chiropractic leaders that would direct a united U.S. national chiropractic association if we could create one. (See "Choosing Our Leaders: Nominations Are Now Open for 'Our Virtual Chiropractic Association'" [http://www.chiroweb.com/archives/18/21/06.html] and "Virtual Unity: Your Chance to Design Our Future" [http://www.chiroweb.com/archives/18/21/14.html] - both published in the October 2, 2000 issue of Dynamic Chiropractic.)
Make your nominations:
