When I graduated from chiropractic college in 1981 and started practice, I heard it all, and very little was positive. “You are a quack; you do not know what a subluxation is; you couldn’t get into a real health care program, so you chose the one that is slightly above a mail-order degree; you have no proof that chiropractic works; Are you really licensed?”, and so much more.

Dr. Ryan Kain is a staff chiropractic physician integrated as part of the medical staff at Marimn Health, a FQHC tribal clinic for the Coeur D’ Alene tribe in North Idaho. He completed a BS at Georgetown College and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic. He has also earned certification as a functional medicine practitioner from the Functional Medicine University. Current projects include increasing chiropractic access at tribal clinics, training chiropractic interns in an integrated collaborative medical clinic, and translating pain neuroscience education into practical use for chiropractic clinics.
