Christine Goertz, DC, PhD
Dr. Christine Goertz is a professor and vice chair in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Duke University School of Medicine, and adjunct professor at the University of Iowa College of Public Health. She leads interdisciplinary teams in designing and implementing clinical research studies to increase knowledge of the effectiveness of patient-centered, nonpharmacological treatments for spine-related disorders. She has received $45 million in federal funding as either principal investigator or co-principal investigator, and co-authored nearly 150 peer-reviewed papers.
