F4CP Enlists Another Global Member

The Australian Chiropractors Association (ACA) has become the seventh global member of the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress, joining the Portuguese Chiropractors’ Association; Chiropractic Association of South Africa; Association of Chiropractic, Malaysia; Chiropractic Association of Ireland; Chiropractic Association of Singapore; and New Zealand Chiropractors’ Association. The ACA currently boasts more than 3,000 members.

“We believe that by joining this collaborative global partnership, we can amplify the impact of our work and contribute to meaningful advancements in chiropractic,” commented Dr. David Cahill, ACA president, in a F4CP press release. “We are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and look forward to joining the Foundation and providing our members with lucrative resources.”

ACA Joins an Important Health Care Organization

The American Chiropractic Association has joined the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC), comprised of 1,400-plus U.S. health centers (a growing number of which offer chiropractic care, according to the ACA) serving more than 30 million people.

The ACA describes the NACHC as “the leading national advocacy organization in support of community health centers and the expansion of healthcare access for the medically underserved and uninsured.”

Standard Process Adds Big Name to Board of Directors

Standard Process has added Rebecca Halstead, Ret. Brigadier General, U.S. Army, to its board of directors. Per Standard Process CEO Charles DuBois:

“Becky’s leadership skills and ability to help individuals achieve their very best will be invaluable to our company as we move to new heights. She has a long-standing relationship with Standard Process as a speaker and consultant — she has also used our products for many years.”

Chiropractors may remember that Halstead was also one of the first Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP) spokespersons, named to the role in 2009.

Parker U. Makes Forbes List

Forbes recently included Parker University in its list of the top Texas online colleges of 2023. Here’s why Forbes selected Parker U.:

“Founded as a chiropractic college around 40 years ago in Irving, Parker University today offers eight online bachelor of science degrees, including majors in sports psychology and integrative health and a bachelor of business administration with a focus in healthcare management.

“The small school (around 460 enrolled undergraduates) boasts a low student-to-teacher ratio of 9-to-1. Parker has an open enrollment policy, meaning it accepts 100% of applicants.”
