After months of uncertainty, The National by the Florida Chiropractic Association (FCA) hosted the premier event for chiropractic in-person and virtually.
Earlier in 2020, the FCA made the decision to postpone its annual August convention until November to be able to provide the safest possible environment with proper social distancing and hygiene protocols. The FCA put together a Safe Space 2020 Safe + Clean Plan, coupled with the Hyatt Regency Orlando's new Global Cleanliness Standards, to ensure the well-being of all attendees. Vendors and attendees alike shared their delight at being able to gather safely in-person.
Dr. Stephen Trzeciak and legends Paul Lambert, Esq. and Dr. Lou Sportelli zoomed in for live lectures during panel sessions.
The Numbers
Total attendance: More than 1,400 in-person attendees and 260 first-ever virtual attendees
Number of booths: 200 booths in a socially distanced format
Noteworthy Events
The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress chose The National to debut its 30-second commercial that will be played to shine a light on chiropractic during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Three lucky DCs won cash prizes totaling $10,000 during the Presidential Reception.
There were countless vendor give-aways including lasers, tables, mattresses and more.
Several national groups met during The National, including The Summit, the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress, the Congress of Chiropractic State Associations and the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards. Many others took the opportunity to use The National as a meeting place to host private meetings.
New additions this year included a full virtual exposition & educational program, which enabled classmates to engage with live learning in a whole new way.

It’s a new year and many chiropractors are evaluating what will enhance their respective practices, particularly as it relates to their bottom line. One of the most common questions I get is: “Do I need to be credentialed to bill insurance, and what are the best plans to join?” It’s a loaded question – but one every DC ponders. Whether you're already in-network or pondering whether to join, here's what you need to know.
A 36-year-old female presented on Nov. 18, 2025, with lumbar pain and left lower extremity radiculopathy. What happens when best practices for patient care fall outside what guidelines endorse or insurance will cover? More importantly, how can clinicians ethically and effectively integrate non-reimbursed services that improve function, reduce disability and support long-term outcomes? These are not just clinical questions; they are economic and policy challenges that directly affect practice viability and patient access.
