As a practitioner, you know foot pain should be addressed as soon as possible, as pain in one or both feet can potentially lead to impairment of foot function. But rather than treating foot pain with over-the-counter pain and anti-inflammatory medications such as ibuprofen, or prescription nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), or even corticosteroid injections for chronic foot pain, why not try red light / infrared therapy?

Doctor of chiropractic Named to NIH Advisory Council
Northwestern Health Sciences University graduate Roni Evans, DC, PhD, MS, is one of five new members of the National Advisory Council for Complementary and Integrative Health, the primary advisory body for the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH), which operates under the auspices of the National Institutes of Health. The NCCIH is the lead federal research agency for complementary integrative health, according to the NIH.

Nancy Singleton, a 1989 graduate of the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic assistant program who operated a busy practice and nutrition business with her husband, Dr. Todd Singleton, has passed away following a battle with cancer.
