Initial Reaction to WCA White Paper Mixed

- Sherman College of Chiropractic: "Sherman College of Chiropractic strongly opposes the expansion of the scope of practice in Wisconsin. The college remains steadfast in holding to the origins of chiropractic to improve and elevate the well-being of people through the correction of vertebral subluxations. It recognizes that the unique philosophy and art of chiropractic are scientifically grounded in their own right and require no expansion into the act of medical practice." – Dr. Edwin Cordero, Sherman President
- University of Western States: "The University of Western States strongly supports the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association's efforts to enact legislation that will create a pathway for chiropractic physicians to expand their scope of practice. With additional training and education beyond the Doctor of Chiropractic degree, chiropractic physicians will then be authorized to provide additional necessary healthcare services for their patients."
