When sports chiropractors first appeared at the Olympic Games in the 1980s, it was alongside individual athletes who had experienced the benefits of chiropractic care in their training and recovery processes at home. Fast forward to Paris 2024, where chiropractic care was available in the polyclinic for all athletes, and the attitude has now evolved to recognize that “every athlete deserves access to sports chiropractic."
Dee Cee Labs Pledges $100,000 to Foundation for Chiropractic Progress
The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP) is pleased to announce that Dee Cee® Laboratories, Inc., a national and multi-national dietary supplement company, has pledged a generous $100,000 in support of the campaign, to be fulfilled over the next five years. This donation will help to bridge the gap in public education about chiropractic care by supporting increased production of F4CP campaign material, including press releases, advertisements, print advertorials, public service announcements and sponsored research.
"Through the F4CP campaign, the entire chiropractic community serves to benefit," stated Kent S. Greenawalt, chairman, F4CP. "I sincerely appreciate and applaud companies, such as Dee Cee, that recognize and stand up in support of the campaign. Collectively under the F4CP, unprecedented levels of exposure and success can be driven to chiropractic care."
When asked what prompted the support of the F4CP, Harry Hester, DC, president, Dee Cee Labs, shared, "We have been following the F4CP positive press campaign for several years, and are very impressed with its progress. We probably should have been supporting this effort a long time ago."
