One of the most common questions I get is: “Do I need to be credentialed to bill insurance, and what are the best plans to join?” It’s a loaded question – but one every DC ponders. Whether you're already in-network or pondering whether to join, here's what you need to know.
American Chiropractic Board of Occupational Health Announces Exam Dates
The American Chiropractic Board of Occupational Health (ACBOH) has announced dates for the written and practical examinations. All exams will be held on campus at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minn.
The written exam may be completed on either of the following dates:
- June 14, 2013 starting at 8:30 a.m. and ending at 1:00 p.m.
- Aug. 9, 2013 starting at 8:30 a.m. and ending at 1:00 p.m.
The practical exam will be offered one time this year on:
- Nov. 16, 2013 starting at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 4 p.m.
Applications for exams are now being accepted for the written exam for a limited time. Eligible candidates are required to access the ACBOH Candidate Handbook (click here). Application procedures and forms are located within the handbook, as well as all other applicable instructions for the exam procedures, conduct, and ways in which to prepare for exams. Candidates may also find study/preparation tips on the website. New information may be added to the website at any time.
