The Association of Chiropractic Colleges has announced the election of new officers for two-year terms. Brian McAulay, DC, PhD, recently elected president of Parker University, is the new ACC president. McAulay previously served as vice president.
The new VP of the association is Dennis Marchiori, DC, PhD, chancellor of Palmer College, while Todd Knudsen, DC, vice president of academic affairs at Southern California University of Health Sciences, rounds out the new slate of officers as ACC secretary / treasurer.
Richard Brassard, DC, president of Texas Chiropractic College, becomes the immediate past president with Dr. McAulay's election.
Dr. McAulay has chaired the ACC-RAC Conference as well as an historic Enrollment Task Force Initiative. He brings to the ACC a broad array of higher-education experience.
Dr. Brassard announced the ACC board election results by saying, "White smoke on the first ballot! It is an indication of the strong support for Dr. McAulay's leadership." McAulay thanked Dr. Brassard for his leadership as board president over the past two years.
