Because they have yet to pass national legislation protecting the chiropractic profession, Japanese DCs are in a similar situation that U.S. DCs faced. We were fortunate enough to be able to pass chiropractic licensure state by state. The DCs in Japan must accomplish this nationally, which has proved to be an extremely difficult task. And in spite of their efforts, Japanese DCs are currently faced with two chiropractic professions.
Chiropractic Acupuncture Diplomate Exam Scheduled for September
The ACA Council of Chiropractic Acupuncture (CCA) and the American Board of Chiropractic Acupuncture (ABCA) are diligently planning their annual fall event in Chicago. The weekend kicks off with the fourth diplomate exam on Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, sponsored by National University of Health Sciences. Specific details are available at the ABCA Web site.
The CCA will be offering an exam review two months in advance via "Go to Meeting," taught by Dr. Kris Tohtz and Dr. Rand Olson. The exact date and time are still pending. All details will be announced at the CCA Web site no later than May 1.
The CCA will be holding its annual business meeting/dinner/social Friday evening from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the Hilton Suites Chicago/Oakbrook Terrace. All CCA members are invited. Please call 636-207-6600 to RSVP for Friday evening's event.
You won't want to miss the third annual ACA CCA Symposium, Saturday, Sept. 24-25, 2011, also being held at the Hilton. Again, all details will be announced on the CCA and ABCA Web sites soon. Twelve CEUs will be offered for all those attending the symposium. In an effort to meet each state's required deadline for CEU approval, it is requested that you register at least 90 days in advance to allow enough time for the CCA to apply to your specific state for approval.
Please join your colleagues as Dr. Richard Yennie, the "Father of Chiropractic Acupuncture," opens the symposium, presenting as only he can out of his vast wealth of knowledge. His unique and passionate lecture resume spans decades and has touched the lives of millions. You won't want to miss this special opportunity.
Joining Dr. Yennie are Dr. Todd Frisch, CCA president; Dr. Tim Green, ABCA president; Dr. Zev Myerowitz; Dr. Rand Olson; and Dr. Kris Tohtz. Together, this dynamic group will teach cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment protocols you can immediately incorporate into your busy practices.
