Some doctors thrive in a personality-based clinic and have a loyal following no matter what services or equipment they offer, but for most chiropractic offices who are trying to grow and expand, new equipment purchases help us stay relevant and continue to service our client base in the best, most up-to-date manner possible. So, regarding equipment purchasing: should you lease, get a bank loan, or pay cash?
Parker Alumni Association Reaches Milestone: 200 Lifetime Members
During Parker Seminars Dallas, Parker College of Chiropractic held a homecoming and class reunion reception. At the reception, Parker recognized each Parker Alumni Association Lifetime Member for the association's recent achievement in reaching 200 members. Parker thanked each lifetime member for their continual support of Parker College's alumni association.
For helping to achieve the milestone, Dr. EJ Raven '02 received special recognition for becoming the 200th member. Dr. Raven currently practices in Park City, Utah.
One of the alumni association's biggest achievements is the Alumni Association Endowment Fund Scholarship, funded by all lifetime members, which has been awarding Parker students with scholarships each year. The fund has given over 19,000 dollars in scholarship funds to students. One hundred percent of the lifetime membership fee is contributed to the endowment fund for scholarships.
Nearly 10 percent of association members are not graduates of Parker College, but joined because they believe in the work the association is doing.
Each lifetime member has received a personalized plaque, and their name will be engraved on the on-campus plaque recognizing lifetime members. Each member also receives a lapel pin to recognize their contributions to the Parker Alumni Association.
