Chiropractic Summit Promotes Unity

Kent Greenawalt

The third Chiropractic Summit is a perfect example of people from many different organizations - chiropractors, vendors, colleges, etc. - coming together to achieve a common goal. The same is true for the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (FCP). You can play an important role in getting more people to seek chiropractic care and helping yourself, your patients and the profession in the process. Your support can help the FCP spread the message about chiropractic's many benefits.

In 2007 alone, the efforts of the FCP generated over a quarter of a billionpositive messages. This is the equivalent of $3.5 million in free advertising. But the work isn't finished. The messages must continue to make a real impact. Saying it once won't get the job done. We must say over and over again, "Chiropractic can help you," to really get the general public to make a change.

Join the ranks of the ACC, ACA, ICA, COCSA, and all of the 32 organizations that banded together at the third Chiropractic Summit. Support the FCP and become a part of real change for your profession. Help chiropractic become the leader in health care. Help millions of people experience how chiropractic care, just as they would see in your office, can transform their lives for the better. All it takes is a little bit of effort from a lot of people to make change a reality.

A Team Effort

We can't do it alone. It's October, and that means we're in the middle of football season, so think about your favorite college or professional team. You know they can't win unless everyone on the team works together to make a play. The same is true for the FCP. One donation will help, but it won't win the game. That is why we can't carry out this kind of large-scale campaign without your help. A one-time donation of $25 or $100 won't be enough to keep this positive press effort rolling.

Just like a receiver can't score the game-winning touchdown unless the quarterback throws him the ball, the FCP can't continue to spread the good news about chiropractic without your help. Your donation becomes part of a $3.5 million effort to bring more positive press to chiropractic. A monthly donation, even if it amounts to a couple of dollars a day, is what it takes to keep a continuous campaign moving forward. Every chiropractor who wants to see a change for the better must support the FCP.

Join the FCP today. Doctors just like you make a difference. If we work together, we can achieve our goal of helping more people with chiropractic care. When we all join in the same cause, we can accomplish more than any one person can alone.
