Students on Palmer College of Chiropractic's Davenport campus are making their future practice success, and that of their fellow chiropractic students and new graduates, a personal mission. The road map to success that this group of students has developed, with the support of Palmer College, is a program called "Palmer Destination Success."

Palmer Destination Success began as an undertaking inspired by students - for students - to serve chiropractic. The program is now being executed with the involvement of college resources and personnel. It will cultivate chiropractic leaders and strengthen the future of the profession and its place in the wellness movement. It will help students and new doctors develop the critical-thinking skills and abilities they need to build, grow and maintain successful practices.

The Palmer students believe success is not a matter of chance; it is a matter of choice. "Identifying your core nucleus and embracing change will enable success," says Eric Dzwonkowski, Palmer student and Destination Success committee member.

Beginning with this powerful vision from students, Palmer College of Chiropractic administrators and business faculty have taken a hands-on approach with the student team to tailor a program to fit the needs of 21st century chiropractic and beyond. The Palmer Destination Success committee, which includes students and key Palmer staff and faculty members, has chosen a roster of the best, most relevant speakers in practice management and planned a top-notch seminar to kick off the Destination Success program. The event, titled "Palmer Destination Success: A Journey From Within," will be held Saturday, March 31, from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Palmer's Lyceum Hall.

"Before I enter the health care arena as a chiropractor, I need to further develop my skills to run a successful business. Palmer Destination Success will definitely help me do that," said Dave Campbell, another Palmer student and Destination Success committee member.

This one-day seminar will give attendees an opportunity to network with chiropractic students and chiropractors from across the country. Organizers plan for this to be the first annual seminar on Palmer's Davenport campus dedicated to excellence in the development of entrepreneurial mindsets to enhance chiropractic business skills for students and new doctors. For the low cost of just $40 for students or $95 for field doctors (after March 23, late registration fees apply; add $20 per registration), seminar attendees can enjoy:

  • internationally acclaimed speakers;
  • a jam-packed "Practice Strategies Expo";
  • lunch and afternoon reception included with every registration;
  • prizes and drawings for in-demand chiropractic products and services;
  • an early-bird registration (by March 23) drawing for a JVC 61-inch big-screen HDTV; and
  • free admission to velvet-rope evening entertainment at the exclusive River Music Experience "Redstone Room" in the heart of downtown Davenport.

Leading speakers featured at Palmer Destination Success include Bob Proctor, best-selling author and internationally acclaimed master coach for entrepreneurs. He also is a lecturer, counselor, business consultant, entrepreneur and teacher of positive thinking, self-motivation and maximizing human potential. Proctor has served as the host of "The Secret," and has appeared on "Larry King Live" and "The Ellen Degeneres Show." His message is: "Your better life is already housed within you. ... It doesn't matter how you grew up, or what you've struggled with in life - your mind is unscathed by any past circumstance or any circumstance you've yet lived ... it's phenomenally powerful!"

The event also features Bob Doyle, creator and facilitator of the "Wealth Beyond Reason" program, a powerful multimedia curriculum on the law of attraction and its practical application. Doyle's message focuses on the science of the law of attraction to help people more purposefully activate the law in their life, and to attract wealth, success, great relationships and anything else they desire. "These principles create millionaires, change lives and are at your disposal 24 hours a day," Doyle said.

Palmer Destination Success also includes chiropractic mentors and master motivators, such as Drs. Breck Beasley, Matt Harris, Cheryl Langley and Frank Sovinsky.

Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime event, designed by students to serve students and new doctors. And remember, success is not a matter of chance; it's a matter of choice. Make a positive choice for your future success today and register for Palmer Destination Success: A Journey From Within.
