ACA's Colossal Mailing on the Wilk Trial Appeal

Donald M. Petersen Jr., BS, HCD(hc), FICC(h), Publisher

In one of the largest single public relations mailings ever conducted by a chiropractic organization, in order to insure that the message of the Wilk trial appeal will not be lost, the ACA has sent a full packet of information to a list of individuals and organizations totaling 269,963. This packet includes the opinion handed down by the Seventh Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, and chronicles the history of the Wilk suit along with a letter detailing the importance of this momentous decision.

The ACA has left no stone unturned as they recognize that ONLY through a chiropractic effort to share this information, will a complete and accurate format about this blemish in the history of America's health care system ever be made available.

The completeness and design of the package will create the opportunity for an accurate understanding about how chiropractic has been abused and how the public has been deceived. Hopefully, this enlightened understanding will ultimately influence these decision-makers to consider not only the plight of the chiropractic physician, but the needs of patients as well when developing their future policies and practices.

These distinguished efforts by the ACA will influence the future of the chiropractic profession in countless ways for many years to come.
