When sports chiropractors first appeared at the Olympic Games in the 1980s, it was alongside individual athletes who had experienced the benefits of chiropractic care in their training and recovery processes at home. Fast forward to Paris 2024, where chiropractic care was available in the polyclinic for all athletes, and the attitude has now evolved to recognize that “every athlete deserves access to sports chiropractic."
IFC Announces Administration Changes
The Institut Francais de Chiropractie (IFC), as part of a project to seek accreditation by the European Chiropractic Council on Education (ECCE), has recently changed its administration.
Mr. Charles Martin, formerly academic dean, has been named chief administrative officer in charge of public relations. He has been with the IFC for 10 years, and replaces Mr. Michel Martin, who recently retired.
Christophe Cordier, D.C., a graduate of NCC who has been teaching at IFC since 1985, will be the new academic dean. Mrs. Michele Chevolot is the head secretary for administrative affairs, Ms. Nolwenn Renoux is secretary of academic affairs, and Ms. Marie-Helene D'Erceville is the librarian secretary.

Belgian Chiropractic Association Holds Pediatric Seminar
The Belgian Chiropractic Association (BCA) held a seminar, "A Learning Adventure in Pediatrics, Children, the Challenge" on October 3-4 in Brussels. Attendants represented 10 different countries.
