Because they have yet to pass national legislation protecting the chiropractic profession, Japanese DCs are in a similar situation that U.S. DCs faced. We were fortunate enough to be able to pass chiropractic licensure state by state. The DCs in Japan must accomplish this nationally, which has proved to be an extremely difficult task. And in spite of their efforts, Japanese DCs are currently faced with two chiropractic professions.
Is Your State a Member ???
With the exciting events surrounding the 1995 Chiropractic Centennial being planned and developed, the call is out for the profession's greatest possible involvement. Every level of chiropractic association involvement is planned and hoped for.
What about your state?
Does your state association have a Centennial Committee that is communicating with the Chiropractic Centennial Foundation (CCF)?
Are the plans presently being formed by the CCF's Advisory Committee going to include consideration and participation by your state association for you?
Below is a list of state associations that are currently sponsors of the 1995 Chiropractic Centennial. If your state association ISN'T listed, please contact your officers and ask why? Ask them to contact William Holmberg, D.C., president of the Chiropractic Centennial Foundation at (319) 326-9828.
As the time of our 100 year anniversary comes near, there will be many programs, particularly public relations oriented, that will be made available to the state association sponsors. Don't be left out of this incredible opportunity for chiropractic to grow in your state.
