A historic meeting between chiropractic and Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) leadership took place on March 10th, 2026, in Washington, D.C., featuring representatives from chiropractic national organizations, professional associations and policy principals. The collective goal: advancing the role of chiropractic in improving the health of Americans. Meeting participants focused on long-standing issues that have affected the chiropractic profession for decades, including access to care, reimbursement parity, and ensuring DCs have an appropriate role in national health policy discussions.

Director of Life's Chiropractic Technical Program Named
Judy Peters, a professional educator with a bachelor of visual arts degree from Georgia State University, has been named director of the chiropractic technical program at Life University. Judy was the assistant director of this program at Life from 1986 to 1987, but then moved to Florida, where she lived for 10 years.
The chiropractic technical program is designed for developing skills of office professionals in x-ray procedures; physical exams; laboratory procedures; office management; and patient relations.
"Chiropractic technicians are the strength of the chiropractic office, asserted Ms. Peters. "We teach them the skills they need to effective in this role."
Plan for the chiropractic technician program includes upgrading the certificate to an associate degree program that will allow credits to be transferred to other colleges and universities.
Life Rugby Places 5th in Nationals
The Life University Running Eagles competed in the 16-team USA Rugby Seven's National Championship in Conshocken, Pennsylvania, Aug. 16-17.
Life defeated teams from Washington, D.C. (3-0), Belmont Shores, Calif. (24-21), and Milwaukee (40-7) to move into the the quarterfinals.
In the quarterfinals, Life lost to the Fresno, Calif. team, the eventual national runner-up. The four teams that lost in the quarterfinals, including the Eagles, then competed in a consolation bracket. Life won the consolation, defeating Washington, D.C. (24-0), and Tempe, Arizona (33-17), giving them a 5th place finish overall.
