Chiroweb Wins Another Award

On April 27, 1997, the Chiroweb website received the WebAppeal Award, its fourth award in less than a year. The award was given by WebAppeal.com, a division of RJ Davenport Internet Services. As we go to press, Chiroweb is one of only a dozen websites (and the first health-related website of any kind) to receive this honor.

The WebAppeal award is based on content and technical information and is given to the site that best displays such attributes in a visually appealing manner. In receiving the award, WebAppeal.com stated that Chiroweb "displays forethought in design and content and is definitely 'a website worth catching.'"

We are continually striving to improve Chiroweb. The recent additions of the Online Calendar and the School Daze section are just the first steps in our goal to make Chiroweb the premier chiropractic website on the Internet. Research now shows that limited hip internal rotation can significantly contribute to low back pain. This may be caused by hip joint variants, but more commonly by trauma causing adhesion of the hip joint capsule or even prolonged sitting, which overactivates the hip flexors and abductors, and underactivates the hip extensors and adductors.
