When sports chiropractors first appeared at the Olympic Games in the 1980s, it was alongside individual athletes who had experienced the benefits of chiropractic care in their training and recovery processes at home. Fast forward to Paris 2024, where chiropractic care was available in the polyclinic for all athletes, and the attitude has now evolved to recognize that “every athlete deserves access to sports chiropractic."
ChiroWeb Wins Another Award
A good way to measure success on the Internet is the number of visits a website receives. Since undergoing a major revision in January, Dynamic Chiropractic's website (http://www.chiroweb.com) has become one of the most frequented chiropractic resources on the Internet, surpassing 20,000 visits in one month for the first time (see front page of the July 27 issue).
ChiroWeb has just been honored by the Key Resource award from Links2Go, a service that links thousands of related websites, reviews them and categorizes them by topic. ChiroWeb is now one of only 12 chiropractic websites on the Internet to have received the Key Resource award.
According to Links2Go, the Key Resource award is "both exclusive and objective. Fewer than one page in one thousand will ever be selected for inclusion ... unlike most awards that rely on the subjective opinion of 'experts,' many of whom have only looked at tens or hundreds of thousands of pages in bestowing their awards, the Links2Go Key Resource Award is completely objective and is based on an analysis of millions of web pages."
The Key Resource award is the fifth website award for DC's ChiorWeb. Among ChiroWeb's awards are the Health Explorer Best Site and the NetGuide Gold Site award.
