Sherman College Names Vice President for Institutional Advancement
Kevin Comer has been named vice president for institutional advancement at Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic. Comer, who attended Spartanburg Methodist College (1982-1983) and earned his bachelor's degree from Wofford College in 1986, comes to Sherman College from Spartanburg Methodist, where he has served as director of development since 1995.
In 1996, during Comer's tenure, the SMC institutional advancement program was selected as the number one program among two-year colleges by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. Other positions held by Comer at SMC include admissions counselor and director of admissions. His primary responsibilities at Sherman will include meeting the college's annual and capital fund goals and expanding its endowment and planned giving programs.
