New York's highest court of appeals has held that no-fault insurers cannot deny no-fault benefits where they unilaterally determine that a provider has committed misconduct based upon alleged fraudulent conduct. The Court held that this authority belongs solely to state regulators, specifically New York's Board of Regents, which oversees professional licensing and discipline. This follows a similar recent ruling in Florida reported in this publication.
ChiroWeb.com Named 39th in Top 100 Health Web Sites
WorldHot.com (www.worldhot.com/sports/health ) has named Dynamic Chiropractic's ChiroWeb.com website as the 39th in their list of "World Hottest 100 Health Web Sites." Both visitors and WorldHot editors determined which websites made the "Hottest 100." To be nominated, websites must have "good (legal) content and high traffic."
Medical sites dominate the Hottest 100. As the only chiropractic website to make the list, ChiroWeb.com was also the highest-ranked "alternative health" site, of which there were only a few. The fact that ChiroWeb.com made the list (out of an estimated 20,000 health-related websites) underscores the public's desire to learn more about chiropractic and wellness.
ChiroWeb.com ranks above such other popular web presences as Muscle and Fitness (53), and sites for more traditional brick-and-mortar health retailers, such as Drug Emporium (66) and CVS (68).
