Dr. William Morgan Elected ACC Chair
Parker University President William Morgan, DC, has been elected chair of the Association of Chiropractic Colleges (ACC) Executive Committee. Dr. Morgan now leads an executive committee that includes Vice Chair Deborah Bushway, PhD (president and CEO, Northwestern Health Sciences University); Secretary / Treasurer Waleska Crespo, DrPH, MHSA (president, Universidad Central del Caribe); and Past Chair Dennis Marchiori, DC, PhD (chancellor, Palmer College of Chiropractic).
Chiropractic Future Releases Free Patient Insurance Resources
Chiropractic Future recently released patient-education flyers to help patients “better understand and navigate high copayments, per-diem payment models, and priorauthorization requirements—common barriers to receiving timely and affordable chiropractic care.”

NCMIC Foundation Names 2025 Research Award Winners
Drs. Ryan Burdick, Michelle Maiers and Peter Wayne are the 2025 winners of the George P. McAndrews, J.D., and Jerome F. McAndrews, D.C., Memorial Research Fund Award. Presented at the Association of Chiropractic Colleges Educational and Research Agenda Conference (ACC-RAC) in March, the award “honors researchers who have advanced research, promoted high ethical standards, contributed to practical applications to chiropractic practice, and have interacted professionally with others involved in relevant research.”
Parker Seminars Las Vegas 2025 Honors Best of the Best
DC of the Year, Patient of the Year, Chiropractic Assistant of the Year, and more were named during this year’s Parker Seminars at the Caesars Forum Event Center in Las Vegas. Dr. Richard Brown (retiring World Federation of Chiropractic secretary-general) received the DC of the Year Award, while Raul Garcia received the CA of the Year Award. Dr. Bobby Doscher (president / CEO of Oklahaven Children’s Chiropractic Center) received the Heroes and Legends Award, and Dr. Lisa Goodman received the WCWC [World Congress of Women Chiropractors] Women in Leadership Award. B.J. Keepers took home the Patient of the Year Award.

New NBCE Test Center Progressing
The National Board of Chiropractic Examiners’ new Part IV Assessment Center is set for completion by Q1 2026 following a ground-breaking ceremony in March. According to the NBCE, the center “will increase testing opportunities, improve standardization, and incorporate cutting-edge technology, ensuring that future chiropractors are fully prepared to serve patients with skill, integrity, and excellence.”
