Refund requests are an unavoidable part of running a chiropractic practice. Whether a patient is unhappy with their care, believes an adjustment caused harm, or simply changes their mind, these situations must be handled carefully to avoid escalation. While chiropractors are not legally obligated to issue refunds in most cases, there are times when doing so is the best business decision to protect the practice.
David C. Radford, DC, MS
Dr. David Radford, a 1977 graduate of National, is a third-generation chiropractic physician. He completed a three-year fellowship (1998-2001) in electrodiagnostic medicine in the department of neurology and neurosurgery at Lutheran Hospital, where he was a founding member of the Cleveland Spine and Arthritis Center. Dr. Radford has served on COCSA, CCGPP, OSCA, and ACA, and is a past president of WHG and NOAC. He was on staff at St. Vincent Charity Hospital Spine and Orthopaedic Center, where he served from 2009-2017. With Dr. Matt Levy, Dr. Radford co-founded Day Three Botanicals to help doctors learn how to use CBD in clinical practice as a kinder, gentler medicine.
