When sports chiropractors first appeared at the Olympic Games in the 1980s, it was alongside individual athletes who had experienced the benefits of chiropractic care in their training and recovery processes at home. Fast forward to Paris 2024, where chiropractic care was available in the polyclinic for all athletes, and the attitude has now evolved to recognize that “every athlete deserves access to sports chiropractic."
#ChiropracticCares: Donate to Tornado Relief & Recovery
With millions of Americans left reeling in the wake of a string of destructive and deadly tornadoes last weekend that cut across six Southeast and Midwest states (Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, Mississippi, and Tennessee), Foot Levelers has announced the launch of #ChiropracticCares, a matching-donation campaign to aid in relief and recovery efforts.
The company has pledged to match all donations made through Foot Levelers (see donation options below) up to $250,000, with 100 percent of tax-deductible donations going directly to the American Red Cross. The goal is to reach $500,000 in total donations by the end of the year ($250,000 by members of the chiropractic profession, matched in full by Foot Levelers).
"Chiropractors have dedicated their lives to relieving pain and suffering, and we know that our profession will want to do everything possible to assist the many people affected by this tragedy," said Foot Levelers Chairman and CEO, Kent S. Greenawalt, in a company press release announcing the matching-donation campaign. "We are honored to partner with our profession and the Red Cross to offer this opportunity to help our fellow Americans. Together we will demonstrate how much chiropractors care."
