The Michigan Chiropractic Foundation (MCF) is very pleased to announce that we have awarded $20,000 to the Council on Chiropractic Guidelines and Practice Parameters (CCGPP) for the formation of its Rapid Response Resource Center (RC3), which will provide the foundation for CCGPP's Rapid Response Team and provide resources for practitioners to use on their own, thus expanding CCGPP's outreach to the profession.
CCGPP's primary function for the past several years has been the Rapid Response Team, providing testimony, letters, and factual compilations to help individual doctors and chiropractic associations fight unreasonably denied treatment, as well as help associations establish inroads into insurance companies and help them address unreasonable policies relative to chiropractic on the part of insurers and other organizations. Once the RC3 is established and all the information compiled by the CCGPP to date has been compiled under one roof, it will be an affordable, efficient way to add pertinent new research to the existing database and to have all this information available to any DC or chiropractic organization for their use.
The Rapid Response Resource Center will physically exist in the library at Logan College of Chiropractic, but all current scientific evidence will be stored electronically in a virtual library accessible through the CCGPP website and available to the public.

Founded in 1994, the Michigan Chiropractic Foundation supports the chiropractic profession in Michigan, engaging in charitable, scientific, and educational activities. The MCF is a not-for-profit organization with the goal of furthering the chiropractic profession in Michigan. The MCF provides factual information on the science of chiropractic to policy-makers, the public, and the business community.
The MCF also offers scholarship programs to benefit future chiropractors. Scholarships are available at three chiropractic colleges – Life University, National University of Health Sciences, and Palmer College of Chiropractic – and are awarded to incoming first-year students. Scholarships are offered to graduates of Michigan High Schools, who are Michigan residents.
