During this year's Parker Seminars in Las Vegas, Nev., ChiroTouch, a leading developer of chiropractic practice management software, presented the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of chiropractic care, with a check in the amount of $114,000. In addition to the generous contribution, ChiroTouch has also signed up 300 new F4CP members.
"We are eager to support the initiatives of the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress towards pushing positive messages into the marketplace about the tremendous benefits of chiropractic care," shares Robert Moberg, president, ChiroTouch. "ChiroTouch is deeply entrenched within this profession and we greatly respect our opportunities to provide support with more than just great software."
Helping to round out the impressive donation to the F4CP, ChiroTouch ran a special promotion during the final months of 2012 in which purchasing doctors donated a portion of payment to the F4CP and received complimentary membership.
The F4CP is also pleased to announce that the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association (NCPA) will contribute $10,000 in support of the F4CP – bringing total contributions to $20,000. This impressive financial donation will go directly toward advancing public knowledge of chiropractic care nationwide.
"NCPA recognizes the need for increased awareness of chiropractic in its local community and nationwide," said Lou Andersen, CEO of the NCPA. "In working jointly with the F4CP, more press is generated – and our doctors are able to serve more patients. The NCPA expects with the additional support, the F4CP will be able to boost efforts and achieve greater success for the chiropractic profession."
The F4CP recently attended the NCPA's spring convention and arranged for spokesperson retired Brig. Gen. Becky Halstead to address its audience. Additionally, the F4CP coordinated local media interviews for Gen. Halstead with KOIL-AM and the Omaha World-Herald, which resulted in added chiropractic coverage.
