Texas Chiropractic College is pleased to announce the launch of the Academic Honors Award scholarship, which will provide $2,000 for high-achieving incoming students.
The TCC Scholarship Committee decided to create the one-time scholarship award to all incoming students who have earned a cumulative grade-point average of 3.25-3.49 in their previous coursework.
This new program complements the college's Pathway to Excellence Scholarship, which was launched in fall 2010 and is for incoming students who have earned a 3.5 or better cumulative GPA in their previous courses. Pathway Scholars are guaranteed $2,000 in each of their first three trimesters and have the opportunity to earn up to $20,000 over their 10 trimesters if they maintain a 3.25 or better TCC cumulative GPA.
In addition to these admission-based scholarships, the TCC Faculty Association recently launched five scholarships for currently enrolled students: the Academic Excellence Scholarship, Student Clinic Scholarship, Outpatient Clinic Scholarship, Service Scholarship, and Research Scholarship. These awards are $750 each and offered every trimester. Eligibility requirements vary with each award.
