The Life Chiropractic College West Alumni Association recently honored Michael Gazdar, DC, as its 2011 Alumnus of the Year. The award recognizes Dr. Gazdar's outstanding service to the chiropractic profession and his community.
Dr. Michael Gazdar is a 1989 graduate of Life Chiropractic College West and practices in Walnut Creek, Calif. He taught chiropractic technique at Life West between 1989 and 2006. Now, he travels extensively as the team chiropractor for the World-Champion San Francisco Giants. He also has authored a best-selling lay book on chiropractic, Taking Your Back to the Future.
Dr. Michelle Arietta, president elect of the Life West Alumni Association, stated, "It's really great seeing chiropractic taken to the performance level, especially with such an awesome ball club.
