Parker Las Vegas 2011: Education, Motivation, Inspiration

Parker Seminars held its 2011Las Vegas seminar series Jan. 13-15 atthe Las Vegas Hilton, where more than3,500 doctors of chiropractic and chiropracticassistants had the opportunity tolearn innovative technique and businesspractices from experts in the field andview the latest in products and servicesfrom more than 350 industry vendors.

Keynote speakers included Drs.Fabrizio Mancini, president of ParkerCollege of Chiropractic and ParkerSeminars, and Gilles Lamarche, vicepresident of Parker Seminars; Drs.Simon and Jennifer Floreani; Dr. PatrickGentempo; and Dr. Wayne Dyer.Other distinguished speakers includedDr. James Chesnut, Dr. Michael Hall,Brandi MacDonald and Heidi Farrell.

For the second straight year, NFLHall of Fame receiver and Foundationfor Chiropractic Progress (FCP)spokesperson Jerry Rice attended theLas Vegas seminar. Rice posed forphotos and signed autographs at theshow. Joining Rice at this year’s eventwere Ret. Brigadier General RebeccaHalstead, a fellow FCP spokesperson,along with three representatives ofthe Washington Redskins cheerleadingsquad, which recently completeda PSA for the foundation (see detailsin the Jan. 15 issue of DC). Thecheerleaders shared their positiveexperiences with chiropractic, posedfor photos, signed autographs andconducted interviews with the media.

At the Third Annual Parker Galathe evening of Jan. 14, honorary hostNick Vujicic, president of the internationalnonprofit organization LifeWithout Limbs and founder of a motivationalspeaking company, Attitude isAltitude, shared his inspirational story.Vujicic’s success story after being bornwithout arms or legs captivated galaattendees. Proceeds from the gala wentto help fund chiropractic research.
