Vendors Continue Financial Support of the Foundation

Four chiropractic vendors - Erchonia Medical, ScripHessco, Chiro One Wellness Centers, and Tempur-Pedic International - have pledged financial support to the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (FCP), continuing the corporate support enjoyed by the FCP as it increases awareness of chiropractic and its health benefits. Leading the way in terms of monetary support is Erchonia, with a two-year commitment totaling $50,000 ($25,000 per year over the next two years). ScripHessco and Chiro One Wellness Centers each pledged $10,000 to the foundation, while Tempur-Pedic pledged $6,000.

All four financial commitments, which will go directly to the foundation's positive press campaign, including advertisements, public service announcements, and press releases, were made at this year's Parker Seminars Las Vegas in mid-January. In making the donations, company representatives explained the rationale behind their support:*

"We are delighted to be able to work with the foundation and be able to support the profession that has done so much for the health and well being of the Erchonia family," said Charlie Shanks, vice president of sales and marketing for Erchonia.

"ScripHessco is committed to educating the public about the chiropractic profession and its many benefits through its sponsorship of the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress," commented ScripHessco CEO Matt Taylor.

"Through the years, there have been many organizations that have sought to market one voice for chiropractic to the public," stated Stuart Bernsen, DC, CEO of Chiro One Wellness Centers. "None [has] been as successful or as impactful - and in such a short time frame - as the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress. We are proud to support this foundation and its hard work."

As of press time, the FCP Web site lists 38 corporate sponsors, including the four companies that pledged support at Parker Las Vegas.
