Refund requests are an unavoidable part of running a chiropractic practice. Whether a patient is unhappy with their care, believes an adjustment caused harm, or simply changes their mind, these situations must be handled carefully to avoid escalation. While chiropractors are not legally obligated to issue refunds in most cases, there are times when doing so is the best business decision to protect the practice.
Foot Levelers Gives $23,000 to COCSA to Support State Associations
As part of its continuing commitment to the chiropractic profession, Foot Levelers, Inc., recently donated $23,000 to the Congress of Chiropractic State Associations (COCSA). This donation will support the COCSA mission "to provide an open, non-partisan forum for the promotion and advancement of the chiropractic profession through service to member state associations."
"Without the kindness and generosity of sponsors, it would be nearly impossible for volunteer organizations, like the Congress of Chiropractic State Associations, to provide the vital services to our member states and to fill the COCSA mission," said COCSA President Dr. Jeff Fedorko. "It is with great appreciation we accept the financial gift from Foot Levelers."
"We are honored to support of the Congress of Chiropractic State Associations," said Foot Levelers President and CEO Kent S. Greenawalt. "COCSA provides an opportunity for state associations to work together and learn from each other, and Foot Levelers is proud to contribute to this effort."
