The Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies, whose curriculum is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Graduate Education in Neurology and recognized by the American Chiropractic Neurology Board, has endorsed Foot Levelers, Inc. This specialty board in neurology is recognized by the American Chiropractic Association, the ACA Council on Neurology and the Board of Chiropractic Specialties as the sole authority for certification in the specialty of neurology for the chiropractic profession.
"We are honored to receive the endorsement of the Carrick Institute," said Foot Levelers President and CEO, Kent S. Greenawalt. "It has an exceptional commitment to neurology and chiropractic education."
Carrick Institute founder Frederick Carrick, DC, PhD, supports Foot Levelers and its philanthropic ideals. He believes this is a deciding factor when choosing an orthotic manufacturer.
"Does the vendor support research, education and development of our profession? Do they make a difference? Clearly Foot Levelers has made a difference in the professional training and applications of many doctors. They have facilitated both education and research and have made a difference - a huge difference. I am not employed by Foot Levelers and I support them without equivocation."
Dr. Carrick is a professor emeritus of neurology at Parker College of Chiropractic, as well as a distinguished postgraduate professor of clinical neurology at Logan College of Chiropractic. He also serves as president of the ACA Council on Neurology and president of the ACA's American Board of Chiropractic Specialties.
