ACA Sends Task Force Report to Neurologists
Nearly 17,000 neurologists recently received copies of the report issued by the Bone and Joint Decade 2000-2010 Task Force on Neck Pain and Its Associated Disorders, courtesy of the American Chiropractic Association. The task force's report, based on seven years of multidisciplinary study, is a comprehensive guide to appropriate prevention, diagnosis and management of neck pain.
"There is growth in the referral of patients between chiropractors and neurologists and therefore, it is important that all practitioners be on the same page regarding the most current research in treating this pervasive condition," said Dr. Manceaux, ACA president, in a cover letter accompanying the report.
