When I graduated from chiropractic college in 1981 and started practice, I heard it all, and very little was positive. “You are a quack; you do not know what a subluxation is; you couldn’t get into a real health care program, so you chose the one that is slightly above a mail-order degree; you have no proof that chiropractic works; Are you really licensed?”, and so much more.
| Digital ExclusiveRiekeman NOT Suing Palmer
Contrary to articles appearing in the Quad City Times and this publication (June 4, 2005 issue), Life University President Guy Riekeman, DC, is not currently suing the Palmer Chiropractic University Foundation. The original articles were based upon an April 14, 2005 filing by Dr. Riekeman's local attorney in the Scott County District Court of Iowa. While this filing did refer to a potential action between the parties, the filing was misinterpreted as a legal complaint. A follow-up conversation with Dr. Riekeman revealed that the filing was only procedural and did not include any current legal action.
