ChiroMall Adds New Publishers

Dynamic Chiropractic Staff

It is still several months before the grand opening of ChiroMall.com, but that doesn't mean you can't start shopping! Four publishers recently added their books, tapes and other materials to the growing list of products available on the site:

  1. Elsevier - offers more than 100 titles from several publishers, covering various topics including chiropractic, acupuncture and others. Includes titles from Churchill-Livingstone, Mosby, Saunders, Butterworth-Heinemann, and Hanley & Belfus, which are now part of the Elsevier Health Sciences Division.
  2. 2 Imagine - offers audio CDs to enhance your environment while you provide chiropractic care, as well as motivational and inspirational CDs for you and your practice. (CD audio samples available on ChiroMall.)
  3. At Peace Media - offers music CDs to play while performing adjustments, massages and other forms of manual care. Educational videos for your massage therapist are also available. (CD audio samples available on ChiroMall.)
  4. Trusted Voice - offers professionally created voicemails, in-office musical CDs, patient education CDs, and audio CDs specifically for your chiropractic office. (CD audio samples available on ChiroMall.)

NBCE-FCLB Merger Approved
NBCE-FCLB Merger Approved

The proposed merger of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards was approved by NBCE delegates and FCLB members at their respective annual meetings, held jointly in Atlanta, Ga., this year. Per the new bylaws, the new entity takes the NBCE name, with FCLB continuing as a department within NBCE. The federation will continue to enjoy Board of Directors representation on what will be a single, expanded board.

Before introducing subscapularis syndrome as an upper extremity analog, it is essential to revisit piriformis syndrome as a well-established example of myogenic pseudo-radiculopathy. Piriformis syndrome has long served as a clinical exception to disc-centric models of lower extremity pain and provides an important framework for understanding how deep muscular dysfunction can mimic radiculopathy in the absence of nerve root compression.
