ChiroMall Adds New Publishers

Dynamic Chiropractic Staff

It is still several months before the grand opening of ChiroMall.com, but that doesn't mean you can't start shopping! Four publishers recently added their books, tapes and other materials to the growing list of products available on the site:

  1. Elsevier - offers more than 100 titles from several publishers, covering various topics including chiropractic, acupuncture and others. Includes titles from Churchill-Livingstone, Mosby, Saunders, Butterworth-Heinemann, and Hanley & Belfus, which are now part of the Elsevier Health Sciences Division.
  2. 2 Imagine - offers audio CDs to enhance your environment while you provide chiropractic care, as well as motivational and inspirational CDs for you and your practice. (CD audio samples available on ChiroMall.)
  3. At Peace Media - offers music CDs to play while performing adjustments, massages and other forms of manual care. Educational videos for your massage therapist are also available. (CD audio samples available on ChiroMall.)
  4. Trusted Voice - offers professionally created voicemails, in-office musical CDs, patient education CDs, and audio CDs specifically for your chiropractic office. (CD audio samples available on ChiroMall.)

ChiroMall is located at www.ChiroMall.com. All DCs were given a unique user ID and password in the Oct. 6, 2003 issue of Dynamic Chiropractic. If you don't know your unique user ID and password, you may request it via e-mail (listservices@mpamedia.com). Please provide your name, address and license number.

In upcoming issues of DC, we'll announce additional stores opening on ChiroMall.com.

From Search to Selection: Why AI Visibility Matters for DCs

Patients are no longer just searching; they are asking. Consumers increasingly use AI-powered platforms such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini and Perplexity to ask complete questions in conversational language. Instead of typing “chiropractor Miami,” patients may ask, “What is the best nonsurgical treatment for sciatica?” or “Who helps pregnant women with low back pain near me? This shift represents one of the biggest changes in healthcare marketing since the rise of Google itself.

A National Turning Point: N.J. Board Rejects Insurer Medical X-Ray Rules for DCs

The New Jersey Board of Chiropractic Examiners has made a precedential decision, concurring with the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors' (ANJC) position paper on chiropractic X-ray guidelines. In plain terms, the board ruled, consistent with the ANJC position, that insurance companies cannot use medical X-ray rules or recommendations, like those written by the American College of Radiology (ACR), to decide whether a chiropractor's X-ray was necessary.

Are You Meeting the Chiropractic Standard of Care?
Are You Meeting the Chiropractic Standard of Care?

The term standard of care is a legal term and a medical concept. There is no single, universally recognized standard of care document or authoritative reference. The medical concept defines what practitioners should do in practice. The legal term used determines whether a practitioner failed to meet that expectation. This article examines the standard of care for the doctor of chiropractic.
