When sports chiropractors first appeared at the Olympic Games in the 1980s, it was alongside individual athletes who had experienced the benefits of chiropractic care in their training and recovery processes at home. Fast forward to Paris 2024, where chiropractic care was available in the polyclinic for all athletes, and the attitude has now evolved to recognize that “every athlete deserves access to sports chiropractic."
Midwest Coalition Aids Missouri Association
The Midwest Chiropractic Physicians Coalition is coming to the aid of the Missouri State Chiropractic Association. Upon learning of MSCA's dire financial needs, MCPC is sponsoring a Risk Management Seminar. It is estimated that as many as 1,000 chiropractic physicians may attend this seminar for the benefit of the Missouri Association. The cost of the seminar is only $100 and the speakers are donating their time so that all benefits go directly towards MSCA.
The Midwest Physicians Coalition is comprised of chiropractic associates from five states: Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Oklahoma. Members of the Coalition work together to serve the needs of the chiropractic community.
It is anticipated that this seminar will be accredited for Continuing Education purposes in the states of Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, and Kansas. Credits will be given for 12 hours.
The seminar will be held at Bartle Hall in Kansas City on October 27-28, 1990. The topics to be focused on will include:
- Risk Management
- Chiropractic Malpractice
- Avoidance of Chiropractic Malpractice and other Chiropractic Litigations
