When I graduated from chiropractic college in 1981 and started practice, I heard it all, and very little was positive. “You are a quack; you do not know what a subluxation is; you couldn’t get into a real health care program, so you chose the one that is slightly above a mail-order degree; you have no proof that chiropractic works; Are you really licensed?”, and so much more.

Parker College recently received a certificate of authority from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board to award a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in anatomy. This approval comes after several years of effort by Parker administrators, faculty, and staff working toward this goal.
Parker Issues Special Texas License Plates
Parker has become the first chiropractic college to have its own distinctive license plates. Each plate has "Parker College of Chiropractic" written at the bottom, and is issued through the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles. The license plate is available to students, faculty, staff, and alumni of the college.
