New York's highest court of appeals has held that no-fault insurers cannot deny no-fault benefits where they unilaterally determine that a provider has committed misconduct based upon alleged fraudulent conduct. The Court held that this authority belongs solely to state regulators, specifically New York's Board of Regents, which oversees professional licensing and discipline. This follows a similar recent ruling in Florida reported in this publication.
Motion Palpation and Chiropractic Technic Sells Out!
After a little more than one year from the date of publication, MPI's first textbook Motion Palpation and Chiropractic Technic has almost sold out its first edition. The book, authored by Drs. Richard C. Schafer and Leonard J. Faye, is celebrating its second edition. (Please see ad on page XX.)
The Motion Palpation Institute is pleased to announce that it is now able to offer the book at $69. If anyone could ever predict with any certainty what impact a newly-released text will have on its readers, then the foreview from the chiropractic profession this past year would indicate that Motion Palpation and Chiropractic Technic is well on its way to becoming a classic. This is a unique, one-of-its-kind text that will prove its value time and again for years to come. With a price this attractive, those who may not have purchased the book the first time, will want to now obtain a copy of the "MPI book", while this valuable offer lasts.
