Dr. Michael Hulsebus of Rockford, Illinois, was elected to the Chiropractic Centennial Foundation (CCF) Board of Trustees at the Foundation's meeting in September. He will represent the International Chiropractors Association (ICA), replacing Dr. Frank Bemis.

Among his awards and honors, Dr. Hulsebus was named "Chiropractor of the Year" by the Illinois Prairie State Chiropractic Association in 1988. He was named a "Distinguished Fellow of the ICA" in 1984, and presently serves as the Illinois state president of the Palmer College of Chiropractic International Alumni Association.

Two State Associations and Italian Association Join CCF

The Georgia Chiropractic Association and the Maine Chiropractic Association are the most recent state associations to join the CCF, bringing the total number of state associations to 45.

The most recent international association to join the CCF was the Associazione Italiana Chiropractici of Genoa, Italy. This brings the number of international associations to six. Other members include: the Asociacion Espanola de Quiropractica of Spain, the British Chiropractic Association, the Chiropractic Council of Japan, the Norwegian Chiropractors' Association, and the Association of Swiss Chiropractors.

"We're striving to get every state, country, and provincial association to join," said Dr. William F. Holmberg, CCF president. "State association dues are only $1,250 which can be paid in increments until 1995. We encourage these state associations to commit to the CCF as grassroots representatives of the chiropractic centennial."
