Chiropractic Centennial Begins Receiving Individual Sponsorships

Editorial Staff

Dr. William F. Holmberg, president of the Chiropractic Centennial Foundation (CCF), has made the first individual DC sponsorship donation to the CCF.

Dr. Holmberg made a $1,000 donation to the CCF and encourages other DCs to do the same. "It's all part of giving something back to a profession that has given us so much," said Dr. Holmberg.

"Dr. Holmberg is the perfect person to be the first sponsor," said Rick Flaherty, chair of the sponsorship and donations committee for the CCF. "As president of the CCF he is setting an excellent example."

There are six levels of DC sponsorships ranging from the $25,000 Elite Club Super Sponsor level to the $500 Ruby Club Sponsor.

First Foot Levelers "Countdown '93 Seminar" a Success

Foot Levelers' first Countdown '93 seminar, held July 10-11, 1993 in Davenport, Iowa was a major success.

Fifty percent of the proceeds from the well-attended event will benefit the chiropractic colleges and 50 percent will benefit the CCF.

Those attending the first Countdown '93 seminar enjoyed three of chiropractic's most renowned lecturers: John K. Hyland, DC, DABCO, DACBR ("Biomechanics and Rehab"); Paul Jaskoviak, DC, DACAN, FICC, ("Physical Therapy"); and Kenneth J. Murkowski, DC, FICA, ("Insurance Procedures"). In addition, Monte H. Greenawalt, DC, DABCO, provided hands-on instruction during an early bird seminar.

Dr. William F. Holmberg spoke briefly to attendees prior to showing a special video prepared by the CCF regarding the Grand Celebration in 1995.

"The support of companies like Foot Levelers is essential to the CCF reaching its goal," said Dr. Holmberg. "We cannot thank Dr. Monte and Kent Greenawalt enough for their support and enthusiasm for the chiropractic profession."

The regional series of seminars continues through November 1993 as follows:

Kansas City, MO -- August 21-22
Atlanta, GA -- September 25-26
St. Louis, MO -- October 2-3
Newark, NJ -- November 6-7
Minneapolis, MN -- November 13-14
