FACE Offers Logan Second Fundraising Challenge

William Harris, DC

William Harris, DC, president of the Foundation for the Advancement of Chiropractic Education (FACE) has offered a second fundraising challenge to Logan College of Chiropractic. If Logan can raise $300,000 in cash (not pledges) and gifts in kind by July 31, 1995, FACE will make an additional contribution of $60,000 to the college. Last year, the Foundation offered Logan a $75,000 grant if the college could raise an equal amount of money in a prescribed time. The college exceeded that goal by raising more than $125,000. With the FACE grant tacked on, more than $200,000 went to the endowment fund.

Unlike last year's challenge, which required that all funds raised be added only to the endowment fund, this year's campaign will be unrestricted. Money raised can be used by Logan for any purpose.

Logan President George Goodman, DC, FICC, promised that the college would pursue this challenge grant as diligently as last year's. Dr. Goodman said this second challenge from the Foundation demonstrates Dr. Harris' belief in Logan College and what the college is trying to accomplish.
