NCC Awards Student Winners of Local Essay Contest

For the fifth consecutive year, National College of Chiropractic (NCC) worked with eighth-graders at a local school to support October as "Spinal Health Month." An essay contest was held this year, with the theme "Adding years to your life and life to your years." The winners were announced in a ceremony at NCC on October 29.

Each of this year's winning students received an NCC t-shirt and a certificate honoring their achievements. The first, second and third place winners also received savings bonds for their efforts.

Recognizing this interconnected model enables clinicians to move beyond symptom management and toward more effective, systems-based care that improves long-term outcomes for midlife women.
